Pangaea - Cultivate Our Cultures was started by Cultural Diversity Resources in 1994 to celebrate the rich diversity that lives and thrives in the Red River Valley.

This event is the largest cultural event in the region. It brings together all the cultures of the Red River Valley to include the European, Scandenavian, Native American, Hispanic, and the New American ethnic / refugee cultures for a day filled with food, entertainment, and crafts.

The event is sponsored by: Cultural Diversity Resources, The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, and the Moorhead Human Rights Commission.
Cultural Diversity Resources sponsored the first annual Regional Diversity Conference in 2008 at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Moorhead, MN.

Today, the conference is held in collaboration with the three area universities: North Dakota State University (2009), Concordia College (2010), and Minnesota State University Moorhead (2011).
Every year, since 2002, Cultural Diversity Resources sponsors a multi-ethnic picnic for the refugee population working and living in Cass County, ND and Clay County, MN.

The Picnic is an opportunity for newly arrived refugees and immigrants to make friends, veteran refugees and immigrants to establish connections with new and old friends, and for the entire New American community to socialize and have fun together. This event attracts anywhere from 250 - 600 attendees annually.
The initial grand opening of the Native American Center Project was December 22, 2010 with an annual open house held at the end of each grant year. (September 22, 2010).
