On February 21, 2009, Cultural Diversity Resources hosted a Native American Community Meeting, in the Great Plains Food Bank Board Room, to identify the challenges and benefits of establishing an Urban Indian Center in Fargo - Moorhead. The outcome of the meeting was consensus that an Urban Native American Center was needed in Fargo-Moorhead to serve the Native American Community and Mobile Families from the surrounding seven reservations.
